13 weeks bump update!

So as of yesterday I am 13 weeks pregnant.

I am still feeling sick constantly so need to snack often and really tired. Other than that it’s all pretty good 🙂

I felt really poorly yesterday and was getting signs of pre-eclampsia (which I’m on high watch for) but we were travelling home from holiday and it took us 6 hours to get home (supposed to take 3 hours) so I think it was just that. I’ve been checking my blood pressure regularly and it’s been fine so that’s good.

My bump is still really big but I do think it has stopped growing and I amazingly have been loosing pounds.

My craving have been salt and vinegar crisps so not the healthiest but I’m trying (and failing) to not go overboard with them.

It’s still early days but we have bought a few items like nappies, bottles, nappy cream etc and I’ve also got a changing bag (a pink lining one in the sale).

We’ve also got our pram. It’s the iCandy Raspberry that I was given for review. We’re going to wait until we find out the sex and buy a footmuff and a new colour pack for it.

So that’s my 13 week update. Are you pregnant? How’re you feeling?

Hope the sickness subsides soon, I found that really tough this time. I was pretty much swigging ginger ale at my desk at work all day long. Hope the pre-eclampsia doesn’t surface at all xx you look pretty fabulous!!

I showed symptoms of pre eclampsia in my first preg but was told it couldn’t be till about 24 weeks so I’m interested to read they’re watching you for it so early. They still refused to diagnose it as such all the way through despite protein urea from 8wks, randomly raises in bp & odema.
Hope you feel better soon x

    • Thank you. They’re watching me because I had it with my first and my third and I’ve been on ramipril for high blood since Harry was born 3 years ago and I’ve had to come off those pills since becoming pregnant. Yes I had problems early on with Harry but they wouldn’t do anything until much later in the pregnancy. My doctor said it can happen at anytime x

  5. You look fab!! Hope the sickness passes soon, it can’t be much fun feeling rotten when you have three other little humans to run around after! xx
