I was recently sent a copy of ShoutyKid to review. We love books in our family so we were very excited.

The book is about a young boy named Harry Riddles, Here is a note from him….

Hi there,
My name is Harry Riddles and I am ten years old which my mum says is too young to have
problems but she is WRONG. My dad just lost his job, which means we might have to
move house and I need money to make my mega-amazing zombie movie but there is NO
WAY I will sell my X-box! I’ve written to the Queen, Harry Styles, and the people off
Dragons’ Den who might be able help but I don’t know if they’ll write back. If you have any
bright ideas for making money I’d love to hear them and I can tell you how to get past level
6 on World of Zombies if you like.
Good luck and have fun
Harry Riddles

I read the book myself and it’s not really for me however I did think it was a little funny and definitely something for children aged 8 and over.

I showed the book to me tween son, Jordan who is 11 and he couldn’t wait to get started. He read it in one day, he was that engrossed in it :)

I am now going to give the computer over to Jordan to give his opinion on the book.

I think it was a very good book. I like that the story is not a plain story there is letters he has written too. I would give it a 9 out of 10. I like that he has a pet zombie and that he can talk to them. little bits made me laugh. I would definitely read more of them books. Thank you for giving me a chance to read it.

So there you go. I think he is giving it the thumbs up :)
