A day in Warwick

Myself, OH, three children, my step-mum and Dad had a day to Warwick. It was such a lovely day and a lot better than we were expecting. It’s a shame we found it at the end of the summer holiday’s because we can’t wait to go back. We plan to go lot’s next summer πŸ™‚

First we parked up and had our picnic by the lake

Harry loved watching the boats and ducks. We also saw lots of aeroplanes from Birmingham airport.

After lunch we took a stroll to St Johns House MuseumΒ I can’t believe this museum is free to enter, it was brilliant!

It’s not the largest of museums but we spent hours there.

They had an excellent children’s area

Even the older two joined in

After the museum we had a walk around the town and then had fish and chips in the gardens and the kids had a run around

By that time we decided to walk back to the car. On the way we had to walk through a large park and there was lots going on there. Fairground rides, play park, mini golf, splash pool, and lots more, it was brilliant! Sadly we came by when the rides were just closing, but we did manage a couple of rides and candy floss πŸ™‚ Β Next time we visit we would like to spend the day in this park and maybe a boat ride.

It was such a great day out. We can’t wait to go back again.

  1. Looks like you had a brilliant time. Definitely somewhere I would visit if I still loved up in the Midlands.
