A snow day!

So after weeks of wanting it, we finally got some snow yesterday! The last time we got snow Harry was a few months old so not at all interested. He is now 2 and a half so I was so excited to see his reaction.
At first he didn’t want to go out but then when I said we can make footprints, he gently stepped outside

He had a little sheepish look around, and he fell in love! In fact it was near impossible getting him back in 🙂

We had about an hours play in it and then we came in to have a cup of tea and a bit of chocolate cake 🙂

That looks the perfect amount of snow. Glad Harry enjoyed it so much! We haven’t had any, I don’t suppose we will do now.

Yes, that does look about the perfect amount of snow-enough to play in and have fun but not too much to cause hassle! Harry looks like he had a ball 🙂

Aw bless him, he looks like he’s loving it. We haven’t had enough snow to play in it yet

  4. Oh I am so jealous! We have had none. Freyja is very disappointed.

  5. Beautiful!! You had more snow than us, Lewis and Leah are desperately awaiting the arrival of some decent snow. We’ve played out in the snow flurries but nothing ever stuck for long.

Wonderful photos, you capture his interest and wonder at the snow so well. Nothing like the first encounter and well done for wrapping him up so well to enjoy it. Still waiting for snow here! Thank you for sharing on country Kids.
