Christmas in style.

We love Christmas in our house. We always get far too excited too early 🙂

I think that’s because there is so much planning involved, it has to be started in plenty of time. Having three children and a large family there is no way I could start Christmas shopping in November or December, I just couldn’t afford that. So I start buying early in the year whenever there is a sale.

The food shopping we start collecting stamps for a supermarket early in the year, adding when we can. We do our regular shop on a weekly basis so come November we start buying a Christmas treat each week like the chocolates, peanuts, crisps, nuts etc and put them in the pantry in the Christmas pile.

But one thing I always leave until the last minute is Christmas Outfits so I thought I would write this blog and give myself a little kick up the bum 🙂

We spend Christmas day at home so we like to stay quite casual but still a little sparkly 🙂 We do visit family in the evenings but we still like to be casual and comfy. I love Christmas Jumpers but I just can’t justify the price for one year (for the kids anyway) I try to choose items that can be worn again.

I think we would look and feel great this Christmas in these outfits. What are you wearing and doing this Christmas?

  1. I absolutely live all these outfits, and especially yours, that red top is gorgeous! I can see it being worn loads of times for lots of different occasions. I too like to buy Christmas bargains throughout the year, but I’m afraid chocolates and treats are bought at the last minute because they wouldn’t last a few weeks! Thanks for linking up to #ChristmasCountdown 🙂
