Diary of a wimpy kid-Old school review

My teen is a huge fan of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. He has the whole collection and has watched all the films so when he saw that the new book is being released in November he was really keen to read it.

Well I was lucky enough to get sent an extract digital copy, he couldn’t wait to get reading. He was so eager it actually only took him 10 mins to read it.

The blurb

Life was better in the old days. Or was it?

That’s the question Greg Heffley is asking as his town voluntarily unplugs and goes electronics-free. But modern life has its conveniences, and Greg isn’t cut out for an old-fashioned world.

With tension building inside and outside the Heffley home, will Greg find a way to survive? Or is going ‘old school’ just too hard for a kid like Greg?

Teens thoughts

As my mum said I love diary of a wimpy kid and couldn’t wait to read this. I was disappointed that it wasn’t the whole book but what I did read I really enjoyed and I can’t wait until November to read the rest. It’s very much like all the other books, it’s very funny and makes me want to keep reading. I give it 10/10 because it sounds awesome.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid- Old School is now on Amazon to pre order for £6.49
