Dork Diaries Drama Queen Book Review

IMG_9845

My teen has always loved books. She fell out of love with them for a couple of years (another phase) but she has started to enjoy them again. We were recently asked to review Dork Diaries Drama Queen and she got quite excited about it coming.

The blurb…

Why is MacKenzie holding that diary? Has she (gulp) got her hands on Nikki’s darkest secrets? Or is she spilling her own? Go on – peek! Do you dread that ‘aarrgh’ moment when a rival gets hold of your diary? It’s your fave dork’s worst nightmare. But now another Westchester student has some scribbled secrets to protect. Who? The very last person you’d expect: human rattlesnake MacKenzie! What’s in her diary? That’s the million-dollar question.

Teens thoughts…

I really enjoyed this book, it only took me about an hour and a half to read. I’m not a fan of books that take ages to read so this was just perfect. I am 14 nearly 15 and I think I am probably a bit too old for this book. It was OK, I did enjoy it but it’s  probably more for kids from about 9 to 13 ish. It is a good book though and because it was an easy read, I would probably read the others in the series.

*We were sent this book for the purposes but all word and opinions are all the teens.
