Fighting the Flab!

Over the years my weight has never been consistent. My body is always changing. I’ve never followed a diet, I just sometimes can be really good and just lose it and sometimes I find it a little harder. I’ve never been happy with my weight (even when I was really small) But recently I’ve got to a point where it is getting me down more so than ever before.

I have been between a size 14-16 for many years now and actually felt quite comfortable like that. But since having Jack everything has changed. I am more towards the biggest 16-18 now and I hate it! I’m actually bigger now than after I had just given birth and that makes me incredibly sad.

So I am determined to start getting the weight off and feeling happier in myself. I thought maybe if I document it here, it will give me that extra boost.

So here is me before we start (Ignore the state of the room)

I’ve also been documenting my Gym visits since taking this photo. The times and calories vary because sometimes I would do a different speed or increase my incline.

  1. Treadmill 18 min & 3 min cool down – 68 calories burnt
  2. Treadmill 20 min & 3 min cool down – 98 calories burnt
  3. Treadmill 30 min & 5 min cool down – 129 calories burnt / Bike 10 min & 2 min cool down – 31 calories burnt
  4. Treadmill 15 min & 3 min cool down – 63 calories burnt / Bike 10 min & 2 min cool down – 26 calories burnt
  5. Treadmill 30 min & 5 min cool down – 127 calories burnt / Bike 5 min & 2 min cool down – 15 calories burnt
  6. Treadmill 25 min & 5 min cool down – 120 calories burnt
  7. Treadmill 30 min & 5 min cool down – 13 calories burnt
  8. Treadmill 13 min & 2 min cool down – 64 calories burnt / Bike 5 min & 2 min cool down – 23 calories burnt
  9. Treadmill 20 min & 4 min cool down – 90 calories burnt / Rowing machine 5 min – 20 calories burnt
  10. Treadmill 10 min & 2 min cool down – 46 calories burnt / Bike 5 min & 1 min cool down – 18 calories burnt / Rowing machine 3 mins

2 Week Break

  1. Treadmill 10 min & 2 min cool down – 43 calories burnt / Bike 10 min & 2 min cool down – 33 calories burnt / Treadmill 10 min & 2 min cool down – 45 calories burnt
  2. Treadmill 15 min & 3 min cool down – 82 calories burnt

I was going to take some photos but there is no change thanks to the 2 week break.

I will keep updating every few weeks to document my progress.
