Fun at the Zoo

We recently had a day out to the Zoo. It was just Myself, OH, the tween and Toddler. The Teen was staying at her Grandma’s around the corner because she wanted to play out πŸ™‚

We had a lovely day. It was a little chilly, warming up as we left but we enjoyed it regardless. Harry is at a lovely age starting to understand the different animals and the noises they make.

Every animal we saw he tapped his hand and said “come here” and clicked his tongue, he is so funny!

We had Β ice creams

As you can see it went down well πŸ™‚

This is harry telling the penguins to come closer

We had a ride on a train. Harry’s face was just the best! He absolutely loved it πŸ™‚

We even got to touch ferrets! Mummy didn’t because I’m a wimp and I don’t like them.

Brilliant fun had by all πŸ™‚

What a lovely day out, the ice cream look like a real hit and I always love to see penguins. I hope you will join me for Country Kids with your post.

Zoos are great places to take kids, aren’t they? We try to go to Marwell Zoo (near Winchester) every year – our oldest is completely uninterested in animals, but our youngest two love them.

  3. looks like you had lots of fun love the penguinsxxx

  4. Its been awhile since we last went to a Zoo and I suddenly miss it! Your son’s are just so much fun to look at. They look like they enjoyed this trip immensely! #countrykids
