This man is the most amazing person I have ever met. And he is the best Dad. I met Tom when we were both 23. Tom still lived with his Mum and Dad and didn’t have any children and I was a single mum with 2 kids.
When we met in a nightclub I told him about my children straight away. He didn’t seem to mind that I had children but I thought that may be the drink talking and didn’t expect him to see e again after that night. But i’m happy to say he did. We went on a few more dates and I would tell him about the kids and he would also ask about them.
When he finally met the children, they took to him straight away (phew) and he liked them. We eventually moved in together and he treated the kids as if they were his own. We acted like any normal family and they soon started to call him Daddy. We never pushed it, it was just something they decided themselves. Their biological Dad has never been in the picture (his own choice) so we just went along with it.
Fast forward 11 years and we have two more children and he treats all four exactly the same. They all love him as much as he loves them.
Happy Fathers Day Tom, we love you xx
