Is your toddler in the crazy phase?

You know when you have a baby and then they become toddlers, and there’s that little time when they’re cute and adjusting to toddlerhood? Just past that comes the ‘crazy phase’ where literally they’re crazy and would fit perfectly in a mental hospital. For example…..

You can get lots of fun activities set out for them like painting, colouring, making cakes etc but they WILL be bored within 5 minutes. However, you give them a video of a faceless person opening kinder eggs and they will happily watch that shit for an hour!

They can go from enjoying their dinner to not being able to have it anywhere near them without gagging in 1.2 seconds!

They can be up all night, either for the fun of it or because they’re ill but can then get up in the morning full of beans as if they have had 12 hours sleep!

You can be walking down the street with them, playing having fun and out of nowhere they decide they don’t want to walk anymore and they’re going to sit on the floor and will not move for anything!

They have to dress themselves now, but that involves looking as if you should be in a white jacket and locked up in a little room.

Do you have a toddler? Can you relate? What would you add?

oh my god YES!!!! He’s actually nuts!! Definitely agree with the kinder egg videos, he’d watch them for hours. His current wacky thing to do is when we’re walking somewhere, he’ll suddenly decide to be a pigeon and start walking and cooing like one. People must think, look at that poor little child with a hunched back!!!

You’ve got another fifteen or so years to go before he MIGHT move out! Haha!

  3. Kim Carberry says:

hahaha As much as I loved the toddler years I’m so glad they’re over with. They’re so temperamental! lol

Oh, the sitting on the pavement thing! Mine has just started doing that and it’s so awkward! He’s too heavy to carry far but he just won’t move!

  5. Oh my gosh i can so relate to this lol xx
