Jack at 14 months

On the 13th of March Jack turned 14 months old. The first year I actually didn’t think went too fast (which I loved) but these last two months have gone super fast!

The poor thing has had chicken pox and was really poorly with it, it’s been an awful few weeks but thankfully hes back to smiling again

So Jack is still not crawling but he does get around by bum shuffling. He is standing unaided all the time now and is so proud of himself. He has walked a couple of times holding hands and he confidently walks with his walker but I think we’ve got a while yet until he’s walking.

He now has 7 teeth. 3 at the bottom and 4 at the top and all are at the front.

He eats really well and is only fussy when teething or poorly. Sometimes we still spoon feed but 90% he eats it by himself.

He nods for Yes and shakes his head for no. And can say the following

  • Mama
  • Dada
  • Yeah
  • Ganda (Grandad)
  • Nana (nanny and no)
  • Uf Uf (woof woof)
  • yuv ooo (love you. He’s only said this once but I’m still adding it)
  • Harra (Harry)
  • Buh Buh (bottle)

And a whole load of gobbledygook 🙂

He loves to pinch and bite but also loves to give kisses. If someone is crying he will ask for a kiss.

He’s funny and cheeky, always making us laugh. His new thing is when we’re all laughing, he will join in with a fake laugh.

He still hates baths but loves to be in the room when someone else is having a bath.

He is still super clingy, especially with me but sometimes with Tom too.

I’m always getting stopped while out and about so people can chat with him because his smile is very welcoming and he has the most beautiful eyes.

We all love him and struggle to remember life without him now <3

He fills my world with love and happiness and I wouldn’t change him for anything.
