Leicestershire Sausage and Cider Festival Review

We were recently invited to come along to Leicestershire’s Sausage and Cider Festival. My OH loves both cider and sausages so was super eager to go and we were told there would be lots on for children, as you can see in my post before the event. So it looked to be a great day/weekend and it was.

There was lots available to do and we all had a great day. But unfortunately I do have a negative and that is the cost. We were given tickets for the weekend but others would have had this charge plus…

  • £5 parking charge
  • £5+ each for food (I will say the sausages were definitely worth this but I didn’t try another food available)
  • Drinks
  • Fairground rides
  • And they had stalls which were selling items

The only thing that was free was a Punch and Judy show (certain times) a sand pit and the bands on stage. If we had not taken any money, I don’t think we would have enjoyed it as much. We were given a weekend ticket but we could only afford the one day.

Having said all of that, like I said at the start, it was a good day. Here are some photo’s of our day 🙂

*We were given weekend tickets for the purposes of this review but all words and opinions are my own.
