I have decided I’m not happy with my weight or the horrible flabby belly I have. But I am totally crap at motivating myself and eating well and exercising. I read posts of people losing weight and doing really well and I think yes! I can do that! And then I fancy a packet of crisps (ok maybe a few) and some chocolate (I’m eating a Twix while writing this) and that’s it, I feel rubbish and I’m back to thinking I can’t do it!
I’m not a fan of weight watchers or slimming world etc because I don’t want to pay to try and lose weight plus I want to eat meals that we all like because I’m not cooking separate meals as I think that would just make me give up. I also have some very fussy eaters in the house (my OH) so I can’t be bothered with the hassle.
I am also really rubbish at exercising. I go for walks but all the time I’m thinking to myself Iv’e got to get back home yet, so I never go too far. If I could go for a really long walk until I’m shattered and not have to walk back home, that would be perfect 🙂 Iv’e even said to the older kids we should play on the wii more or go for nightly walks around the block, but sadly Iv’e done neither as of yet.
I’m hoping by blogging that it will give me some motivation and hopefully some inspiration. What made you finally lose the weight? How did you do it? Any tips?
