Off again!

So as I’m writing this I am on my way to the hospital again! I was in on Thursday (New Years eve) with reduced movements but when I was checked all was ok so was sent home and told I will be induced on the 12th Jan. Anyway on Thursday I had ran out of my blood pressure pills (which I take to reduce it) I told the midwives several times that I didn’t have any and of course wouldn’t be able to get any being New Year’s Day the following day. I just kept getting ok or if we have some etc but no answer and we were kept so long and had childcare issues that when they said I could go home, I just went!

Well today I called and said I feel fine in myself (maybe a little more dizzy) but BP is rising so they have said to come in and get some. The problem is we could be waiting hours because there might be someone more urgent than me (which I understand) but hours for some pills? I’m so annoyed! I suppose they will need to check me over but still, urgh! It’s not like the hospital is a short distance either!

I just hope I’m not kept too long.

UPDATE! I am being kept in 🙁

UPDATE! It was just for one night and I am home again 🙂 fingers crossed no more hospitals until I am induced on the 12th in 9 days or better still, I go into labour naturally before then 🙂

I hope it’s all ok and you get the pills. What a nightmare! x

  2. Oh dear, you’ve had a rocky ride! Annoying that they couldn’t get your pills and you had to be kept in, but better safe than sorry!

Oh no. I hope it’s a short stay and you can go home to rest while you wait for the new arrival. I was in for 18 days before Peanut was induced ( on 12th of Jan!) and was climbing the walls. Xx
