Our Christmas 2016

This was not only Jack’s first Christmas but also the first Christmas we spent at my mums house. Years ago before Harry and Jack were born and the teens were very little, we did have a couple of Christmas’ at Tom’s parents house but for years now we have always spent it at home. And because  we usually spent it at home, we don’t always get dressed and just relax (apart from cooking the dinner part) so it was nice to have a change.

We all woke up and enjoyed opening presents together and then for the first time in a long time, both Tom and myself sat and played with the kids and their new toys. Normally one or both of us would be preparing dinner or cleaning so it was lovely to just be together and just enjoy it with no stress.

After a little while we decided to get dressed and because this was the first Christmas in a while where we went out, we decided to dress up a bit and don some festive clothing 🙂

We had such a lovely time at my mums, eating Christmas dinner, watching TV, playing games and laughing lots.
