Playfoam from Learning Resources

As the summer holidays are approaching I’ve been looking for things to do with the kids to keep them entertained without spending a fortune. We’ve worked with Learning Resources before and when they asked if we’d like to work with them again, I said yes instantly because the boys have loved everything we’ve been sent.

When they mentioned playfoam, I looked them up and I had the biggest smile on my face!

A creative play foam, that doesn’t stick to anything but itself, makes no mess, doesn’t dry out and promotes sensory perception and fine motor skills, seriously what’s not to like about it?

The boys couldn’t wait to get playing. I decided to give them two colours each. Harry used it as a learning tool by creating different balls and counting them, finding the biggest and smallest and doing maths.

Jack just instantly squished them together and made first a snowman and then a tractor.

I must say even I enjoyed playing with it, it’s very therapeutic. We opened the colour pack first and I hadn’t realised in the pack that it had bits of glitter in too

We haven’t opened the glow in the dark pack yet but we have had fun watching it glow in the dark in the pack, under my bedsheets.

Definitely something I would recommend for a bit of a peaceful summer holiday fun. It doesn’t leave mess or dries out so is perfect!
