Santa’s Winter Wonderland at Snowdome Tamworth

We were recently invited along to The Snowdome in Tamworth to visit Santa’s Winter Wonderland. I wasn’t asked to write a review but the boys loved it so much that I wanted to share.

Before we arrived we were emailed saying the car park had been flooded so we knew we had to be there a little earlier. When we arrived there were friendly staff directing us to a nearby car park. When we got to the car park there were more staff giving us tickets so parking was free and directing us to the free shuttlebus which we never waited more than a couple of minutes for. I was really impressed with this helpful service they provided.

When we finally got inside it instantly took the kids breath away. A big sign saying Santa’s winter wonderland above an arch and Santa’s sleigh and reindeer’s flying above. Check in was super quick and easy too. I can’t fault any of the staff.

Once inside we had to wait in a large room where we were soon met by a man in costume who spoke to us for around 5-10 minutes and made us all laugh.

Then we were sent through two big doors and onto snow. There were lots of sledges available and rubber rings to sit on and slide down hills on. Jack was quite happy to just take a ride on the sledge and play with the snow but Harry loved sliding down the hills. It was so much fun!

After 30 minutes of play we heard trumpets which meant we needed to make our way to Santa’s theatre for the show.

We loved the show because it had jokes for not only the kids but the adults too.

After the show we made our way into another large area where there was so much to do. Some small animals to pat, write letters to Santa and post them in the talking postbox, have a ride on the carousel, take a peek inside Santa’s home or take advantage of the many photos opportunities.

Once you have wondered around and enjoyed every part you can head out and collect a Thornton’s chocolate treat (even the adults)

It was a really lovely day and I would definitely recommend. We would love to do it again.

*We were gifted tickets to attend but not asked to write a review.
