Teen’s bedroom makeover

The teen has wanted her bedroom decorated for months now because when we switched bedrooms (because she was in the bigger room but when we found out Harry was a boy, she had to go in the smaller room so the two boys could share) all we did was paint it cream and give her some bedding. It was OK for a while until Harry decided to spread her Make-up and nail varnish all over her wall, we decided we had to do it πŸ™‚

Because she is a teenager now, we let her choose everything herself. For the walls she chose Cream and Parma Violet. The bedding is from B&M and was a bargain at Β£5.99!

I bought her a load of photo’s of friends, family, days out, special memories and she gave herself a large photo wall

We also put up a small bookshelf that she uses to store all her beauty products. And of course a large corner for all of her teddies πŸ™‚

We added a mirror as every girl needs a mirror and the love sign dangle she got as a Christmas present. And no teens room is complete without a messy corner πŸ™‚

She just needs a lamp, some cushions and a little bit more storage and it will be complete. I think it looks lovely and I really think it will last her for a good few years.

*Special thanks to our cat Tinkerbell for modelling the bedding so beautifully πŸ™‚

I’m impressed at how tidy she keeps it. Lauren’s is a health hazard.
