sluggish

This week my word is SLUGGISH. This is for two reasons. One Iv’e felt pretty run-down and sluggish. I’m not sure why exactly, I just have. I think it’s a mixture of a few different things.

The other reason why it’s my word is the house is feeling very sluggish and slow at the moment. OH is building a wall in the back garden, we’ve got a bit of paint in the hallway wall from a tester pot, the wallpaper in the living room is stripped off, we have new doors that need glossing, there is a hole in the carpet where we took the fireplace out and we are going to be putting a new bathroom in soon because our loo is broken. It’s just so much in the process of being done at the moment and it’s taking ages because OH works nights so there is only so many days he can do it :-/ The house is driving me nuts at the moment, probably the reason why I’m feeling sluggish myself.

Hopefully I will be feeling more positive next week 🙂

Difficult to stay positive when it feels as if you’re treading water, but I bet you’ve achieved loads if you step back and look at the big picture – compared to a couple of months ago I mean! Hope you feel better soon – more energy in yourself as well as more going on around you! #WotW

  10. I am abit sluggish too and my house is a reflection of that as well. But me I am just in a lazy state. Chores filing up and I cant keep up. So many things to do, (school) meeting to attend and people to see. I dont like this. I want my old routine back. #wotw

Nothing worse than diy grinding to a halt. It keeps happening to us and I completely feel your pain. Hope things start to pick up.

  12. Oh there’s nothing like diy to affect your mood is there. My husband is in the middle of expanding/replacing the kitchen on limited time and cancelled deliveries so I know the feeling. On the bright side once it’s done, it’s done!
