We were recently sent a book to review and as a family of readers (except the OH) we were very excited to get stuck in 🙂
First I read the book but I have to be honest it’s not really for me. It’s an OK book in my opinion but just not for me, I couldn’t really get into it. So I would not recommend it to adults unless this is the kind of thing they enjoy.
My Daughter didn’t want to read it as it didn’t look like her kind of book (we’ve told her not to judge a book by it’s cover but did you ever listen to anything when you were 13?)
However my son (11) did read it and loved it! The only thing I didn’t like about this is that he stayed up too late reading it or he stayed in his room reading it, only coming down to have dinner! But I suppose there are worse things he could be doing 🙂
Because I can’t give a lot of say on the book, I’m going to give the computer to Jordan and let him tell you in his own words what he thought of the book.
I thought it was really interesting to read and very thrilling. it was exciting and when it finished a chapter i wanted to read more to see what would happen. i would give it 9 out of 10.
Thanks to HarperCollins and to celebrate the release on 27th February 2014, we have a copy of Infinity Drake: The Sons of Scarlatti for you to win. For your chance to win, please enter the Rafflecopter below 🙂
