This week Harry has made me proud with his speech. I’ve been a little worried lately (not majorly concerned as he is only 19 months) because he hasn’t been talking at all. He has said some words in the past but then he just stopped.
He started to communicate through pulling you to where he wants to go or sounding like a caveman with “uh, uh, uh” or nodding/shaking his head.
It’s been very frustrating. It’s also really difficult not to compare to other children his age that are saying lots of words (some mothers make you feel worse) with Harry being my third I vowed to never compare as I know every child is different. But sometimes you just can’t help it.
Anyway back to why I’m feeling proud 🙂
This week Harry has said quite a lot and its all been very clear too. He has said
(He has said a few more but I’m tending to a sick teen so brains not functioning properly)
Also when we asked him where each of us were he pointed to the right person and when we asked where is Harry he pointed to himself! The first time he did this we were at the zoo and I may have looked like a mental patient because I was so excited 🙂
I’m so proud of how much he has achieved is such a short space of time. He seems to grow and learn new things by the day.
