Teen daughters Prom 2017

I have a school leaver. I have to keep reminding myself because I keep forgetting (and waking her for school) and quite honestly I just don’t want to believe it! But on the 6th of July she attended her prom and it was a very emotional reminder for me. I kept it together for her though.

She looked beautiful and had a wonderful time and I am incredibly proud of her regardless of what her GCSE results are (when we get them)

On the day we made sure she had lots to drink and to eat so she wouldn’t feel rubbish in the evening.

There wasn’t alot to do most of the day until around 3pm when it all got very busy. My dad and step mum treated her to her hair being done at a hairdressers so she did that first.

Then she came home, put her own make up on and very expensive (tacky, im not a fan of) nails and finally got herself dressed.

And then we all had photo’s with her (Harry wasn’t in the mood and wanted to stay naked so he’s absent)

We didn’t get her a fancy car (she didn’t want one) we just took her in our Nissan Qashqui +2. We stayed with her for 30 mins watching people arrive and then left her to enjoy the evening.
